That passion is driven by Yves Mullenders, self-made hospitality entrepreneur with a drive for hospitality and innovation.
Yves discovered a love for the hospitality profession some 20 years ago when he started at De Poshoorn as a student. Meanwhile, he was studying marketing and communications. He now combines these two skills as owner of De Poshoorn, having increased his professional experience over the past twenty years as manager of several hospitality businesses in Maastricht. By looking very carefully at atmosphere, quality and comfort, he manages to attract different target groups. From young to old and from tourist to local.
"I love challenges, developing, innovating. Although De Poshoorn is an authentic and historic building, that doesn't mean you have to remain professionally stagnant. It's all about that unique combination of authenticity and contemporaneity, I think. And this is where I include my employees as much as possible.
